Aufgaben

As Strategic Marketing Manager (f/m/x) for our Refractive business, you will work closely with the entire ZEISS Refractive team and other strategic business units to grow the Refractive business of Carl Zeiss Meditec AG.

In this role, you will work on two main areas: (I) developing, defining and executing strategic positioning projects on a global and national level for products and target groups and (II) supporting the strategic product launch and go-to-market plan for Refractive solutions. You will play a key role in addressing customers (surgeons, clinical staff) to drive the growth of ZEISS B2B business.

Your Role

  • Development and definition of the Marketing strategy and deployment for the ecosystem, workflows, products & services: You will create strategic positioning statements for medical workflows, products and services based on a strategic situation analysis, customer insights and value propositions with your project team and agencies.

  • Development and definition of product launch plans: In constant communication with markets and product management you will act as a team and define product launch plans for workflows and products.

  • Steering of relevant project partners for launch campaigns: You will work with product management, communication departments and clinical regulatory stakeholders to steer and implement integrated marketing plans for global launches.

  • Internal and external collaboration: You will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders to drive the successful execution of the growth plan for our refractive lasers and increase global market presence.


Profil
  • Successfully completed university degree (e.g. in corporate strategy, marketing, business administration) or comparable qualification
  • At least 3 years of professional experience as a strategist, project manager, product manager, marketing manager or consultant in the medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical or related industries

  • Proven ability to drive product and target group positioning strategies in complex project management environments

  • Strong knowledge of B2B(2C) strategic marketing and brand development based on buying processes, growth opportunities, customer insights and other strategic tools

  • Hands-on experience defining, planning and designing project plans and conceptual designs with internal and external stakeholders

  • Ability to present strategic projects and long-term vision in an effective and inspiring manner, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Motivating personality, able to prioritize and communicate clearly, and understands how to drive alignment within the organization to achieve excellent team results

  • Very good command of written and spoken German and English languages

  • Willingness to travel internationally (10-20%)
